About the dev
Stonework Labs is one person: Andrew, an independent developer who thinks the best software feels less like a product and more like a well-made object you're glad to own.
Seed exists because journaling apps kept turning reflection into a performance — streaks to maintain, insights to unlock, prompts generated by someone else's idea of growth. I wanted the opposite: three fixed questions, a quiet page, and a door that locks from the inside. So I built it.
Everything Stonework Labs ships follows the same few rules:
Do one thing, well
An app should have a single purpose you can explain in a sentence, and it should stop there on purpose.
Privacy is architecture, not policy
The strongest privacy promise is an app that physically cannot phone home. No accounts, no analytics, no network.
Pay once, own it
Small tools should be bought like notebooks, not rented like offices. No subscriptions.
Calm is a feature
No streaks, badges, or guilt. Software should wait for you, not the other way around.
If you want to say hello or tell me what Seed should grow into, I read everything: [email protected].
